Bernard Piel, 98, beloved husband of the late Henriette; loving father of Arthur Piel, Roberta (Stephen) Lasson and Ira Piel; cherished grandfather of Jordan, Heather, Ryan, Jaclyn and Eric; adored great grandfather of Samantha, Jessica, Zachary and Miko; dear brother of the late Sydney; treasured uncle, cousin and friend of many. Chapel service Thursday 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ORT.
